Reform & Rebel
Wear Your Power. Move Your Way
At Reform & Rebel, we’re flipping the script on what a Pilates body "should" look like. We create bold, inclusive apparel for every body that’s ever felt out of place in a fitness space. Our mission is to challenge toxic fitness culture, celebrate strength in all forms, and bring some rebellious energy to the reformer — one unapologetic T-shirt at a time. Because Pilates isn’t about shrinking yourself. It’s about reclaiming your power — and looking damn good while doing it.

About us
Founder of Reform & Rebel
Amanda King — Pilates Instructor, Ex-Powerlifter, Online Sex Educator, Reformer Revolutionary
Before Pilates, I was a powerlifter. I loved being strong — stacking plates, breaking PRs, and showing up in a body that wasn’t built to shrink. But all that lifting left me stiff and tight, constantly moving like my joints were made of concrete. I needed something different. Something that made me feel strong and supple. That’s when I found Pilates — and it completely changed the game.
But let’s be real: the Pilates you see on social media?
It’s the same tired aesthetic — thin, white women in matching sets doing teaser after teaser like it’s nothing. It screamed “you don’t belong here” to anyone who didn’t fit that mold. But the second I stepped into an actual studio, I realized something: that filtered version of Pilates is a lie. The work? The movement? The results? They’re for every body — and mine included.
I’m also an online sex educator, so I’m no stranger to calling out bullshit narratives about our bodies. And in both movement and sexuality, we’ve been told the same thing: be smaller, quieter, prettier, less.
F**k that. I created Reform & Rebel to flip the script.

More Than a T-shirt Company...
This isn’t just a T-shirt shop. It’s a movement — for the misfits, the late bloomers, the rule breakers, the soft-bellied powerhouses. For the ones who lift heavy and move slow, who take up space and don’t apologize for it.
Our shirts speak louder than most instructors.
They say:
🔥 You don’t need a six-pack to have a strong core.
🔥 Movement isn’t about punishment — it’s about power.
🔥 Pilates isn’t a skinny girl sport.
So if you’ve ever scrolled Pilates Instagram and thought, “that’s not for me” — welcome.
You’re exactly who we made this for.

The Core Code
This isn’t just a brand. It’s a rebellion.
At Reform & Rebel, we don’t play by fitness industry rules — because those rules were never made for us anyway. This is our manifesto. Our mission. Our line in the sand.
We move differently. We dress loudly. We take up space — on the mat, in the studio, and in the world.
Here’s what we stand for:
The Core Code...
-
Everybody is a Pilates Body
We reject the bullshit idea that you have to "look" a certain way to do Pilates. You’ve got a body? Congrats — you qualify. Strength doesn’t have a size. Neither does worth.
-
Representation isn't optional. It's Necessary
We’re here to center bodies that have been erased: plus-size, midsize, BIPOC, queer, disabled, trans, aging. You deserve to see yourself in movement culture — not as an afterthought, but as the main character.
-
No Shrinking to Fit In
We don’t shrink our bodies or our voices to make others comfortable. Reform & Rebel is about expansion — in strength, in confidence, in unapologetic self-expression.
-
F*ck Fitness Shame Culture
We don’t work out to punish ourselves or to earn rest. We move because it feels good, because it builds power, because it connects us to ourselves. If you’re here for diet culture, you’re in the wrong place.
-
Movement for Pleasure, Not Punishment
As an online sex educator and Pilates instructor, I believe movement and sexuality are both forms of embodied expression — and both deserve to be rooted in joy, consent, and autonomy.
-
Empowerment is our Mission
Your body isn’t a before picture. You’re not “brave” for wearing a crop top or stepping onto a Reformer. You’re powerful. You’re enough. You’re a damn rebel.
